Scheduled
Elastic will be migrating Internet ingress traffic towards Elastic Cloud to new cloud load balancers. These load balancers are the initial entry point for Internet sourced traffic towards the Elastic Cloud.

These changes will roll out to the following Elastic Cloud regions on this timeline:
AWS sa-east-1 on May 2, 2023
AWS us-west-1 on May 2, 2023
AWS us-east-1 on May 4, 2023

All other regions will be changed at the future date with a separate announcement at that time.

What is the change?

Internet ingress traffic towards the Elastic Cloud will be migrated to new cloud load balancers.

What is the impact on me?

The new load balancers will have different public IP addresses than the current load balancers. There is no impact for you with the exception of those customers who restrict outbound access towards certain IPs of the Elastic Cloud. In that case, you will need to update or temporarily remove any relevant firewall rules in your network. Please note that Elastic Cloud does not officially support customers restricting outbound access towards their Elastic deployments because our IPs are subject to change.

AWS Private Link traffic will not be impacted by these changes.
